Former National Security Adviser Susan Rice has spoken out on potentially being Joe Biden’s running mate.    During a recent interview, she claimed the U.S. needs new leadership and said she will do what we she can, in whatever capacity, to ensure it happens.
The presumptive Democrat nominee vowed to choose a female of color as his vice president earlier this year.
Former officials stated Rice’s credentials, including her work for the Obama administration, and confidence make her the perfect candidate.
“I’m going to do everything I can to help get Joe Biden elected and to help him succeed as president, whether I’m his running mate or I’m a door knocker,” she said.    “I don’t mind, I just want to get Joe Biden elected, see the Democrats control the Senate and retain the House.”
Rice went on to say she is “humbled to be talked about in the context of so many extraordinary women.”    However, she emphasized the decision should be about choosing someone who can heal and unify the nation.
[Remember that I have been predicting that Rice will be VP pick with Biden because the Globalist wants someone in the White House to control the policies of the U.S. as she did during the 8 years of the Obama administration and took the blame on the Benghazi deaths and failure to save Hillary's ass who was the real culprit when she ran for president.].

7/9/2020 Judicial Watch Files Lawsuit With State Dept. Over Russia Probe by OAN Newsroom

A new lawsuit is seeking the truth about claims of alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election.    The conservative activist group Judicial Watch announced Wednesday that it had filed a lawsuit against the State Department.
The group aims to find out more about the role played by former United Nations Ambassador Samantha Power.    Documents show Power made at least seven requests to obtain Michael Flynn’s redacted identity in meetings with top Russian officials.
However, she recently testified saying she has “no recollection” of doing so.    This led many to believe Flynn was unfairly targeted.
“They knew he was innocent,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.    “They knew he did nothing wrong yet he was targeted and it looks like it goes straight into the Oval Office.”
Fitton’s efforts run parallel with another investigation led by the Department of Justice and U.S. attorney John Durham.    The results of either probe could have a significant impact on the upcoming election.

7/10/2020 President Trump: Roger Stone’s Prayers May Have Been Answered by OAN Newsroom

President Trump said Roger Stone’s prayers may have been answered, following pleas for a pardon from his former political adviser.
His comments came after the Department of Justice advocated for Stone to begin his prison sentence next week despite his bid to postpone his 40-month sentence due to fears of the coronavirus.
President Trump said Stone was framed and is the victim of a “corrupt and evil witch hunt.”
“Roger Stone was treated very unfairly, unbelievably unfairly, and I watched that and thought it was incredible the way that man was treated, including with the jury forewoman,” he told reporters.    “It was disgrace and the judge, the way she treated him, I think it was a disgrace that they didn’t give him a retrial.”
Prosecutors initially called for up to a nine-year sentence for Stone, but Attorney General William Barr reduced the recommendation.    Stone is due to report to prison July 14.

President Trump has commuted the sentence of his former political adviser Roger Stone.    Friday’s announcement came just days before he was set to report to prison.
The White House confirmed the news in a press release.
“Today, President Donald J. Trump signed an executive grant of clemency commuting the unjust sentence of Roger Stone, Jr.,” Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany wrote.    “Roger Stone is a victim of the Russia hoax that the left and its allies in the media perpetuated for years in an attempt to undermine the Trump presidency.”
One America’s Jack Posobiec also confirmed the news and said Stone is planning to “continue to fight his case in the appeals court, and also do whatever he can to support the full exoneration of General Flynn.”
The president hinted at a possible lifeline for Stone in a series of interviews over the past 24 hours.
Stone was originally convicted of lying to Congress and witness tampering in connection with Robert Mueller’s Russia probe.
The president’s allies have repeatedly urged him to pardon or grant clemency for Stone since the end of his trial, citing his risk of contracting coronavirus while behind bars.

7/11/2020 Trump grants clemency to ally Roger Stone by John Fritze, Kevin Johnson and Kristine Phillips by USA TODAY
WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump commuted the sentence of his longtime confidant Roger Stone, a Republican operative convicted of lying to Congress to protect the president’s campaign from an investigation into Russian election interference.
The White House announced Trump’s decision days before Stone was set to report to prison for a 40month sentence handed down in February, a stunning downfall for a consultant who has advised campaigns for decades.
In a statement, the White House described Stone as “a victim of the Russia Hoax that the Left and its allies in the media perpetuated for years in an attempt to undermine the Trump presidency.”
The Justice Department told a federal appeal court this week that Stone should begin his sentence July 14, despite Stone’s plea to delay it over concerns about the coronavirus.    Hours later, the president presaged his decision during an interview with the conservative news organization Newsmax.
“He was framed.    He was treated horribly,” Trump said of Stone.    “His prayer may be answered.”
Trump’s decision follows a public dispute with Attorney General William Barr in February over the president’s public remarks about criminal cases.    Trump railed against the Justice Department for recommending Stone serve up to nine years, describing the initial recommendation as a “miscarriage of justice.”
Justice officials backed away from that tougher sentence.
Trump for years has offered vague answers to questions about whether he would use his sweeping clemency powers to help allies and former employees ensnared by the Russian investigations, which he has collectively dismissed as a “hoax.”    In handing down Stone’s sentence this year, U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson said the GOP consultant “took it upon himself to lie, to impede, to obstruct before the investigation was complete, in an endeavor to influence the result.”
Stone was found guilty in November of lying to Congress and obstructing the Russia investigation.    The 67-yearold GOP operative was one of several Trump associates to be convicted in cases stemming from former special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 presidential election.
“Not only was Mr. Stone charged by overzealous prosecutors pursing a case that never should have existed, and arrested in an operation that never should have been approved, but there were also serious questions about the jury in the case,” the White House said.
[As the Democrats will go crazy over this Trump may be forced to do the same for Flynn and Manafort since that judge has gone crazy and is trying to become an attorney to influence the case he is ruling on which shows you that the left is crazy because they are losing in all their illegal activities that ocurred during the Obama administation.].

7/11/2020 Newly Released Notes Show FBI Knew Gen. Flynn Was Telling The Truth by OAN Newsroom

New documents have revealed the FBI knew Lieutenant General Michael Flynn was telling the truth about his relationship with Russia.    On Friday, notes were released from a meeting with FBI and Justice Department officials.
The meeting took place on January 25th, 2017, one day after Peter Strzok and Joseph Pientka interrogated Flynn.    According to the documents, the bureau had no reason to believe Flynn was lying and stated he was not working as an agent of Russia.
Agents called Flynn “open and forthcoming.”
Additionally, the notes revealed Justice Department official George Toscas questioned why the investigation would even be reported to the White House.    Toscas also voiced opposition against prosecuting Flynn under the Logan Act.
These documents were not turned over to Flynn’s legal team until this week.

According to reports from earlier this year, the FBI moved to close Flynn’s case, but Strzok urged the bureau to keep it open.    Several months after the January 25th meeting, the general pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI.
He recently recanted his plea and alleged the FBI set him up.
Previously released notes from an Oval Office meeting on January 5th, 2017 showed one attendee asking if the goal was to obtain the truth or to get Flynn to lie so he could be prosecuted or fired.
“There was a January 5th meeting in the White House with President Obama, that President Obama was directly part of the meeting, where it was discussed with senior law enforcement intelligence they were targeting the national security adviser for the incoming president,” explained Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas).
At the same meeting, Joe Biden requested Flynn’s name be unmasked from the reports.

The Justice Department moved to drop the charges in Flynn’s case, but Judge Emmet Sullivan attempted to block the department from doing so.
A panel of three judges from the D.C. Circuit Court then ordered Sullivan to allow the charges to be dropped in June.    Sullivan requested an en banc rehearing of the case earlier this week.
The court has stayed their previous decision until they decide whether or not to grant the rehearing.
“What happened to General Flynn should never happen again in our country,” stated President Trump.    “He was persecuted and many other people were persecuted, they spied on a campaign.”
[AS SEEN IN THE ABOVE ARTICLE THAT THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION WAS INVOLVED IN AN INAPPROPRIATE ACTIONS WHICH SHOULD BE SHOWING SOMEONE IS IN TROUBLE AND FINALLY IT WILL PROVE THE CORRUPTION THAT HAS OCCURRED AND BIDEN WHO WAS INVOLVED IS ABOUT TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT SHOULD BE QUESTIONED THOROUGHLY TO FIND OUT THE TRUTH OR SUFFER THE JUSTICE WITH I HOPE IS FROM DURHAM.    JUDGE SULLIVAN SHOULD RETIRE BECAUSE NO REPUBLICAN WILL EVER ALLOW A COMPROMISED JUDGE TO RULE IN THEIR CASE AFTER WHAT HE HAS RECENTLY TRIED TO DO AND IT FORCED TRUMP TO COMMUTE FLYNN BECAUSE OF HIS ILLEGAL ACTIONS.].

Special counsel Robert Mueller is set to testify in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee about his role in the Russia investigation.
On Twitter, Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) confirmed he will ask Mueller to go under oath before his committee soon. He added, “Apparently, Mr. Mueller is willing and also capable of defending the Mueller investigation.”
This came after Mueller wrote an op-ed titled “Roger Stone remains a convicted felon and rightly so.”
In the article, he maintained his office’s convictions against President Trump’s associate Roger Stone.    He claimed the people involved in those investigations “acted with the highest integrity” and that the probe was “of paramount importance.”
He emphasized it led to seven convictions and more than two dozen charges of witness tampering and lying to investigators.

Committee hearing on his report on Russian election interference, on Capitol Hill, in Washington. (AP Photo/Alex Brandon, File)
The White House issued a statement of their own following Stone’s commutation.
“He (Stone) was treated very unfairly, just like General Flynn is treated unfairly, just like Papadopoulos was treated unfairly.    They’ve all been treated unfairly. …People are extremely happy because in this country, they want justice.” – Donald Trump, 45th President of the United States     Mueller testified in front of the House committee in July of 2019, but with a Republican controlled Senate, it could be a very different ball game.
Sen. Graham is planning to build a broader case for the public, including the argument that some investigators criminally abused their power.
Parts of the discussion will center around the Justice Department’s decision to prosecute Stone, alleging he was a victim of a politically manufactured hoax.

7/13/2020 Mueller says Stone ‘remains a felon’ - He speaks out after Trump commutation by Kevin Johnson, USA TODAY
Former Russia special counsel Robert Mueller pushed back against President Donald Trump on Saturday, defending the prosecution of Roger Stone and the larger investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, saying the flamboyant political operative was “prosecuted and convicted because he committed federal crimes.”
“He remains a convicted felon, and rightly so,” Mueller said in a column published Saturday in The Washington Post.
Mueller’s remarks, prompted by Trump’s commutation of Stone’s 40month prison sentence Friday, are the first since he testified before a House committee nearly a year ago after his team brought charges against at least a half-dozen former Trump aides during his campaign and after he took office.
Stone was the last person charged by the Mueller team during the nearly twoyear Russia investigation.
“Russia’s actions were a threat to America’s democracy,” Mueller wrote.    “It was critical that they be investigated and understood.”
Mueller said the FBI had evidence that the Russians signaled to a Trump campaign adviser that they could assist the campaign through the anonymous release of information damaging to the Democratic presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton.
“Stone became a central figure in our investigation for two key reasons: He communicated in 2016 with individuals known to us to be Russian intelligence officers, and he claimed advance knowledge of WikiLeaks’ release of emails stolen by those Russian intelligence officers,” Mueller wrote.
“We also identified numerous links between the Russian government and Trump campaign personnel – Stone among them.    We did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired with the Russian government in its activities,” the former special counsel wrote, reasserting the team’s conclusions.    “The investigation did, however, establish that the Russian government perceived it would benefit from a Trump presidency and worked to secure that outcome.    It also established that the campaign expected it would benefit electorally from information stolen and released through Russian efforts.”
Mueller offered a detailed accounting of investigators’ focus on Stone by federal prosecutors and Congress.
“He lied by denying he had communicated with the Trump campaign about the timing of WikiLeaks’ releases,” Mueller wrote.    “He in fact updated senior campaign officials repeatedly about WikiLeaks.    And he tampered with a witness, imploring him to stonewall Congress."
“The jury ultimately convicted Stone of obstruction of a congressional investigation, five counts of making false statements to     Congress and tampering with a witness,” Mueller wrote.    “Because his sentence has been commuted, he will not go to prison.    But his conviction stands.”
Mueller said the “essential question” of whether those efforts involved the Trump campaign required investigation.
“When a subject lies to investigators, it strikes at the core of the government’s efforts to find the truth and hold wrongdoers accountable,” Mueller said.    “It may ultimately impede those efforts."
“We made every decision in Stone’s case, as in all our cases, based solely on the facts and the law and in accordance with the rule of law.    The women and men who conducted these investigations and prosecutions acted with the highest integrity.    Claims to the contrary are false,” he said.
White House spokesman Judd Deere said Saturday, “Mueller should keep his promise to the American people and let the report, which fully exonerated the president, stand instead of pontificating in the editorial pages with more spin.”
Democrats and some Republicans, including Sen. Mitt Romney, R-Utah, criticized Trump’s intervention.
“Unprecedented, historic corruption: an American president commutes the sentence of a person convicted by a jury of lying to shield that very president,” Romney wrote on Twitter on Saturday.
Trump granted Stone clemency days before he was to report to a Georgia prison to serve his sentence.
Trump has pardoned allies before, but Stone is the first individual directly connected to Trump’s campaign to receive presidential clemency.
A statement issued by the White House on Friday called Stone “a victim of the Russia Hoax that the Left and its allies in the media perpetuated for years in an attempt to undermine the Trump Presidency,” claiming that prosecutors made “process-based charges” in lieu of “finding evidence of collusion with Russia.”
Romney was the only Republican senator who voted to convict Trump on an impeachment charge in February, becoming the first senator ever to vote against his own party’s president in an impeachment trial.
Former special cousel robert Mueller says it’s vital to understand Russia’s interference.YEHYUN KIM/USA TODAY

The president’s campaign is getting a boost from Deep State warrior Roger Stone.    In an Axios interview released Monday, Stone said he will do anything he can to get the president reelected just short of breaking the law.    He also said he plans to write a book about what he called the “Russian collusion myth.”
Roger Stone was brought into this witch hunt, this whole political witch hunt and the Mueller scam,” said President Trump.    “It is a scam because it’s been proven false and he was treated very unfairly, just like General Flynn is treated unfairly.”
The president’s former political advisor highlighted the obstacles ahead of the November election, including voter fraud, internet censorship and the corporately owned mainstream media.
Stone became a free man after having his prison sentence commuted by the president last week.    He called the four-year prison sentence a “death sentence” due to his struggle with asthma amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“Thank you for saving my life because I don’t think I at my age and in my medical condition, I would have survived in a COVID infested prison,” he remarked.    “There’s been 20 more cases of COVID found at that prison just in the last week.”
Meanwhile, those close to the Trump campaign have been discussing former national security advisor Micheal Flynn as a possible addition to the team.    Newt Gingrich called him “the perfect example of Deep State victimization,” adding that “lots of people would come to see him.”
On Monday, the campaign told Axios that Flynn could be welcomed back as an opener for Trump’s rally’s after finding his fame on the MAGA stage back in 2016.    This comes as Flynn is still awaiting a final ruling from the D.C. Circuit Court of appeals to dismiss his case.

7/18/2020 Newly Declassified ‘Operation Crossfire Hurricane’ Files Released By Sen. Graham by OAN Newsroom

of the White House in Washington, D.C. (AP Photo/Pablo Martinez Monsivais)
Two newly declassified documents related to ‘Operation Crossfire Hurricane’ were released Friday by Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.).     The operation was an investigation into the Trump campaign and what the FBI alleged was collusion with Russia leading up to the 2016 election.
Graham, who serves as the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, has been questioning high ranking intelligence officials involved with Crossfire Hurricane.    The senator has been seeking a better understanding of how and why the FBI attained warrants to investigate members of the Trump campaign.
Back in 2019, Inspector General Michael Horowitz confirmed that in the ‘Crossfire Hurricane’ team’s receipts of Christopher Steele’s election reporting, the dossier played a central role in the FBI’s decision to seek the FISA order.    This helped the FBI attain warrants to spy on former Trump aide Carter Page.
Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence officer, was hired by Washington-based research firm Fusion GPS in June of 2016 and was paid to dig up dirt on the Trump campaign.
The Horowitz investigation into the Steele’s claims determined that the dossier was simply made up of hearsay evidence from two low-level sources and that other information within it was already available from multiple public outlets.
Graham’s document release shows new evidence that not only was there no verifiable evidence of collusion on the part of Trump’s campaign, but also top FBI officials were skeptical of Steele’s evidence back in early 2017
.
In one of the released documents, Peter Strzok, a former FBI agent who opened the bureau’s Russia probe in 2016, annotated a New York Times article titled “Trump campaign aides had repeated contacts with Russian intelligence” from February of 2017 where he said:
“This statement is misleading…we have not seen any evidence of individuals affiliated with the Trump team in contact with international organizations.”
The second document released was a three-day interview with a key source of Christopher Steele’s, where information was given which unsubstantiated claims made in the original Steele dossier.
Graham pointed out that these released documents and statements in Strzok’s annotation question the entire premise of the FBI’s investigation.
Like Horowitz, Graham said there were discrepancies between Steele and his source.    However, this time the newly released document provides concrete evidence for that claim.
After releasing the documents, Graham said, “it was a miscarriage of justice for the FBI and the Department of Justice to continue to seek a FISA warrant against Carter Page in April and June of 2017.”
[WE ARE NOW SEEING THE BEGINNING OF PERSONS WHO HAVE BEEN CAUGHT VIOLATING THE LAW FROM ACTIONS TAKEN BY THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION FBI, CIA, NSA ENTITIES WHO SPIED ON THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION AND IN TIME I THINK THIS WILL ALL LEAD TO THE TOP WHO WERE RESPONSIBLE IN TIME AND HOPEFULLY IT WILL OCCUR BEFORE THE NOVEMBER ELECTIONS AND THE FISA COURT SHOULD BE THE FIRST ONES TO PUSH THIS BESIDES THE SENATE.].

7/20/202 White House Chief Of Staff Says He Expects Criminal Indictments To Result From Durham Probe by OAN Newsroom

as he joins President Donald Trump on a trip to Florida. (AP Photo/Evan Vucci)
According to White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, it’s time for people to go to jail as a result of U.S. attorney John Durham’s probe into the origins of the Russia investigation.
During an interview Sunday, Meadows suggested from what he’s seen so far he believes several individuals involved in the investigation into Russian interference and alleged collusion will end up with charges being leveled against them.
Meadows, who formally served on the House Oversight Committee, also said Durham has found evidence the Obama-era FBI spied on the 2016 Trump campaign. He noted that despite the fact that Democrats knew there was no collusion early on, they continued with former special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe regardless.
His comments came after Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Lindsay Graham released two recently declassified documents last week, which suggest FBI officials were skeptical of reports in early 2017 of contact between the Trump campaign and Russian intelligence officials.
Those documents also included an interview with a source for Christopher Steele, which appeared to cast doubt on the accuracy of the British ex-spy’s controversial dossier.    While speaking on those findings, Graham said it’s time for those responsible to finally be held accountable.
“And what I’m dying to find out is why did the system continue to use a document in April and June of 2017 to get a warrant against Carter Page when they were told in January 2017 by the man who prepared it that its a bunch of garbage?”    Graham stated.    "I’m gonna get to the bottom of this, I’m gonna hold people accountable and let the chips fall where they may.”
President Trump also touched on the recent documents and suggested even though Obama-era officials were caught spying on his campaign, nothing is happening to them.    He noted that if it were the other way around, it would be much different.
Meadows went on to say new documents may be released in the coming days that will not only show that the Trump campaign was spied on, but will show the FBI did not act appropriately in its investigation.    Meanwhile, Durham’s report is expected to be released by the end of this summer.

Rep. Devin Nunes told Maria Bartiromo on FNC's "Sunday Morning Futures" that the Brookings Institute
had connections to the creation of the Steele dossier during the 2016 election:
NUNES: We have now expanded our investigation, full-blown investigation, into the Brookings Institute.    And it really centers on two issues.        One is the IRS.    This is a tax-exempt organization.    They're supposed to stay out of politics.    They clearly have not done that.    They have obstructed our investigation with propaganda for the last four years.
It's well-known that they have attacked our investigation for four years through this kind of phony legal group of fact-checkers that they set up.    So, we need to look at their -- see if they have been involved in politics.
Secondly, they also take foreign money from foreign countries and foreign governments.    And we need to know what foreign governments were involved in this, because were they acting on behalf of a foreign power?
Everybody questioned for all this time, you know, the Trump campaign and Republicans were involved with Russians.    Well, who was the Brookings Institute -- who were their foreign donors?    And are they doing all of this not just to help the Democratic Party, but also any foreign government?

Christopher Steele, a former British spy who wrote a 2016 dossier about alleged links between Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin,
leaves the High Court in London following a hearing in the libel case brought against him by Russian businessman Aleksej
The shadowy figure who funneled information to Christopher Steele for his notorious election-year dossier is Igor Danchenko, a Ukraine-born, Russian-educated researcher who worked in the U.S. traveled to Moscow to find supposed dirt on candidate Donald Trump.
Washington lawyer Mark E. Schamel told The New York Times that Mr. Danchenko is his client.    “Igor Danchenko has been identified as one of the sources who provided data and analysis,” he said.
A number of online activists had identified Mr. Danchenko, as did Real Clear Investigations.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham, South Carolina Republican, released a 60-page declassified FBI report that detailed three interviews with Mr. Danchenko in January 2017.    The researcher’s name was omitted, and he was referred to only as Mr. Steele’s “primary sub-source.”
Cybersleuths with the blog I Found the Primary Subsource took tidbits from the heavily redacted document and pieced together enough biographical information to name Mr. Danchenko.
Mr. Danchenko describes himself on his restricted Twitter account as “Russia/Eurasia political & economic research & analysis, energy, due diligence.”
Mr. Danchenko was on the payroll of Mr. Steele’s investigative firm, Orbis Business Intelligence, in London.    He also worked at the Brookings Institution.    He co-wrote with Fiona Hill a 2010 Brookings paper titled “One Step Forward, Two Steps Back?    The Realities of a Rising China and Implications for Russia’s Energy Ambitions.”    Which now you see the connection of Fiona Hill with the fake impeachment of Adam Schiff and the rest of the Democrats and you willsee below how it is all connected to the Globalist agenda.

It is now up to U.S. Attorney John Durham to hold corrupt people accountable with criminal indictments.

The fabulist behind the infamous and discredited anti-Trump dossier has finally been exposed.    His name is Igor Danchenko.
He is not some mysterious Russian agent operating in the bowels of the Kremlin.    Danchenko is a Ukrainian-born resident of the United States who worked as a senior research analyst for the Washington, D.C. liberal think tank, Brookings Institution.
When the dossier was invented in 2016, the president of Brookings was Strobe Talbott, a long-time friend and ally of Hillary Clinton.    Her campaign provided the cash for the phony document that was composed by ex-British spy Christopher Steele.
REP. NUNES ON SECRET SOURCE FOR ANTI-TRUMP STEELE DOSSIER: 'EXPANDED OUR INVESTIGATION' INTO BROOKINGS INSTITUTE
Talbott helped fuel the Trump-Russia collusion narrative.    But it was Danchenko who supplied Steele with most of the false stories contained in the dossier.
Danchenko’s identity, concealed by the FBI for three and a half years, was uncovered by clever cybersluths and thereafter confirmed by his attorney.
Beginning a mere four days after Donald Trump was inaugurated in January of 2017, FBI agents interviewed Danchenko during three successive sessions.    A summary of their findings – but with Danchenko’s name redacted – was recently declassified and released to the public.
The stunning 56-page report revealed how the accusations supplied by Danchenko that Trump colluded with Moscow were false and fictive.    Yet, the bureau kept this information carefully hidden.
Instead of revealing the truth and ending the investigation of the president, then-FBI Director James Comey escalated the case.    Once fired, he stole government documents and leaked them to the media for the purpose of triggering the 22-month long probe by Special Counsel Robert Mueller that eventually concluded that there was no evidence of a collusion conspiracy.
Make no mistake – it was the dossier that propelled much of the FBI’s collusion witch-hunt, as well as the warrants to spy on Trump campaign associate, Carter Page.    Other scant evidence was discarded by the FBI early on, such as campaign adviser George Papadopoulos hearing a rumor that Russians had obtained Clinton’s deleted emails.
Although Papadopoulos copped a plea to lying to the FBI, disseminating rumors is not a crime.    He had no direct contact with Russian operatives.    With the help of an undercover agent, the bureau realized that Papadopoulos was innocent and that this avenue of collusion was a dead end.
The newly declassified FBI report that explains how Danchenko served as Steele’s “sub-source” for nearly all of the dossier’s absurd fables is a cautionary example of how conjecture and lies based on multiple hearsays can take on a life of their own and hold a presidency hostage.
In March of 2016, Steele recruited and paid Danchenko to dig up dirt on Trump.    The Brookings researcher/analyst seemed desperate for money.    He told FBI agents that he “felt like he had to report something back to Steele” to justify the monthly salary he was receiving (page 12 of FBI report).    So, he trafficked in gossip to keep the paychecks coming.    Facts and truth were irrelevant.
In telephone calls and voice communications through Skype, Danchenko spoke with a handful of people he knew in Russia and others he described as “random associates” (p38).    Some were barroom buddies with whom he would “drink heavily” (p17).
They traded fairy tales about Trump.    It was nothing more than prattle and drivel – a guy told a guy who told me that someone connected to Trump might have done thus-and-such.    You get the picture.    It wasn’t reliable intelligence; it was scandalous junk derived from “speculation and open secrets” (p30).
Danchenko insisted that he told Steele that his information was just “rumor and speculation and that he had not been able to confirm the story” (p39).    According to the Justice Department Inspector General, Danchenko said that Steele "misstated or exaggerated" the hearsay that he furnished.
For example, Danchenko claimed he spoke with staff at the Ritz Carlton in Moscow about the salacious story of Trump engaging in sexual improprieties inside a hotel room.    The staff “laughed it off" (p39).    But Steele didn’t care; he was determined to use it against Trump.
He included the sordid tale in his dossier and then peddled it to both the FBI and the media in order to destroy Trump whom he admittedly loathed.    Steele confided in Justice Department official Bruce Ohr that he was “desperate” to stop Trump.
Of course, the liberal mainstream media was more than happy to appropriate the Steele-Danchenko garbage.    The New York Times, The Washington Post, CNN and MSNBC all treated it as gospel without ever attempting to confirm the accuracy or veracity of any of the ludicrous allegations.    It should have been obvious to any responsible journalist that the far-fetched assertions were cobbled together by someone with a motive to smear Trump.br>     Anyone with half a brain who actually read the dossier when BuzzFeed published it on January 10, 2017 knew immediately that it was a work of fiction.    It read like a horribly written spy novel.    It was truly laughable.    In my 2018 book, "The Russia Hoax," I wondered how anyone with an ounce of intelligence could take it seriously:
“On its face, the dossier was a preposterous collection of rumors, innuendos, supposition, and wild speculation.    At least one part of it contained demonstrably false statements.    In its entirety, the set of documents incorporated not a bit of direct evidence.    Instead, it was based solely on multiple hearsay accounts from inherently unreliable sources in Russia who were, notably, experts in lies and disinformation.”
It should come as no surprise that Danchenko worked for the Brookings Institution (a published paper by him is still listed on its website) at the very time that Strobe Talbott was president.    Talbott, a dedicated Clinton loyalist, penned a frenzied column stating with certainty, “We already know that the Kremlin helped put Trump into the White House and played him for a sucker… Trump has been colluding with a hostile Russia throughout his presidency.”
I haven’t seen Talbott’s retraction or apology since the Mueller report came out, nor do I expect one.    He has a lot to answer for, including his own contacts with Steele.
It just so happens that Talbott’s brother-in-law is Clinton sycophant, Cody Shearer, who created what became known as the “second dossier.”    Remarkably, it echoed several of the identical fantastic allegations as the original Steele-Danchenko dossier – equally bereft of evidence or corroboration.
In my latest book, "Witch Hunt," I explained how “some of Shearer’s own accusations against Trump were transcribed into the last few Steele memos, which were then passed on to the FBI.”    Hence, Clinton’s campaign didn’t just commission the dossier, her allies contributed to its contents.
The FBI knew all of this but continued to insist that Steele was reliable and the dossier was credible, even in the face of incontrovertible evidence to the contrary.    The bureau scrupulously guarded their secret knowing full well that disclosure would ruin the public’s trust in the FBI.
Attorney General William Barr and Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe are to be commended for having the courage to declassify the documents that have exposed the FBI’s malevolence and malfeasance.
Did top officials at the FBI commit crimes?    In my judgment, yes. Laws were perverted or ignored.    The law enforcers became the lawbreakers.
When powerful forces in government abuse their positions of trust to subvert the legal process, democracy is threatened.    Reverence to the rule of law is lost.
It is now up to U.S. Attorney John Durham to hold corrupt people accountable with criminal indictments.

8/3/2020 Roger Stone Reveals Text Messages Showing He Did Not Lie To Protect President Trump by OAN Newsroom

Roger Stone recently revealed evidence that appears to challenge claims
made by Democrat lawmakers who have said Stone was willing to lie for President Trump.
On Sunday, Stone provided screenshots of a text conversation he had with NBC news analyst Howard Fineman that said Fineman never believed Stone was hiding criminal knowledge in order to protect the president.
The texts contradict claims made by Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell during an investigative hearing of Attorney General William Barr where he questioned Stone’s integrity.
“He bragged and he lied to save Trump’s butt, but why would he lie?” asked Swalwell.    “Your prosecutors, Mr. Barr, told a jury that Stone lied because the truth looked bad for Donald Trump.”

Fineman claimed Stone was not protecting the president during the Mueller investigation despite his allegations the president may be forced to pay Stone back for his silence on certain issues.
Stone said the Mueller team did the opposite of what Swallwell alleged by pressuring him to testify against President Trump.

8/5/2020 Obama-Era Official Says Trump Adviser Flynn Tried To ‘Neutralize’ Russia Sanctions by Mark Hosenball and Sarah N. Lynch

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The No. 2 Justice Department official under President Barack Obama told Congress that before President Donald Trump’s inauguration, his national security adviser told a Russian diplomat Trump would “essentially neutralize” sanctions imposed on Russia for alleged 2016 U.S. election interference.
Sally Yates, Obama’s deputy attorney general, told a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Wednesday it was “highly irregular” for Trump adviser Michael Flynn to tell Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak that the incoming administration hoped Russia would minimize its response to post-election sanctions.
In late December 2016, Obama expelled 35 suspected Russian spies from the United States in response to intelligence that Russia exploited social media and circulated hacked Hillary Clinton campaign emails to try to damage Clinton’s presidential campaign and boost Trump’s.
“This was an attack on our democracy.    This attack was absolutely unprecedented,” Yates said.    Russia’s response to Obama’s sanctions was muted.
Flynn, a retired Army lieutenant general, was charged criminally by Special Counsel Robert Mueller during his investigation into Moscow’s alleged election interference.
Flynn twice pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI about his conversations with Kislyak.    Flynn subsequently switched lawyers to pursue a legal campaign which accused the FBI of setting him up.
He asked a federal judge to dismiss the criminal case against him.    The dismissal request, backed by Trump’s Justice Department, is now pending before a U.S. appeals court.
Committee Republicans used the hearing to air complaints by Trump supporters that the Obama-era Justice Department had used a controversial “dossier” on alleged Trump contacts with Russia prepared for Clinton’s campaign by a former British spy to obtain an electronic surveillance warrant on a former Trump campaign aide before the 2016 election.
Yates said she was “not aware of anyone at the Department of Justice trying to keep Donald Trump from becoming president.”
Trump fired Yates in the first month of his presidency when she refused to defend his administration’s first effort to ban travelers from seven Muslim-majority countries.
(Reporting by Mark Hosenball; Editing by Scott Malone and Jonathan Oatis)
[The question is was Yates kept out of the loop of the corruption or did she know and she obviously signed the FISA without reading it and signed off on it and did not know it was all bunk?    We will eventually may see some of them rat on Obama and Biden when Durham presses charges on some of them since CNN and Washington Times will not be able to save them and this will be on world wide news.].

8/6/2020 Yates defends Obama, Biden - Ex-AG: Administration didn’t push Flynn probe by Kevin Johnson, USA TODAY
Former acting Attorney General Sally Yates told a Senate panel Wednesday that in the days before Donald Trump’s inauguration, President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden did not target incoming national security adviser Michael Flynn for prosecution in an attempt to undermine the new administration.
Yates, describing a Jan. 5, 2017, Oval Office meeting to discuss Russian interference in the 2016 election, said she was surprised to learn from Obama that the FBI had intercepted Flynn’s conversations with then-Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak in which the incoming national security adviser sought to “neuter” recently imposed sanctions on the Kremlin for intervening in the election.    “My memory is clear,” Yates told the Senate Judiciary Committee, adding that Obama and Biden made no recommendation on an investigation.    Rather, Yates said that Obama urged caution when sharing information with Flynn during the transition to the Trump administration.    “No such thing happened,” Yates said, when later pressed whether administration officials sought to pursue a Flynn investigation.    “That meeting was not about an investigation at all.    That would have set off alarms for me.”
The Republican-led Senate Judiciary Committee called the former Obama administration official as part of its ongoing review of the     Russia investigation and the early days of the investigation into Flynn, who would later plead guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts with Kislyak.
Flynn moved to withdraw that guilty plea in January, claiming the government had breached the plea agreement.
While Flynn awaited sentencing, the Justice Department in May abruptly abandoned the prosecution over the objection of career prosecutors.
The move was challenged by the sentencing judge, who has since asked a federal appeals court to reconsider Justice’s decision, leaving the retired Army lieutenant general’s fate uncertain, nearly three years after he first pleaded guilty.
In her testimony Wednesday, Yates differed with the Justice Department decision and strongly defended the Flynn investigation as legitimate, referring to Flynn’s ultimate decision to plead guilty.
“I was very surprised,” she said of the decision to drop the case.    “The circumstances here (in the Flynn case) called out” for the FBI to pursue its investigation.
But Yates also expressed deep concerns about the FBI’s conduct in the early days of the Russia investigation, taking specific issue with then-FBI Director James Comey.
Yates described a tense encounter with Comey following the 2017 Oval Office meeting, saying that she upbraided the FBI director for not informing her of the intercepted Flynn conversations prior to the briefing with the president.
At the time, she said, the FBI was not providing adequate briefings on the agency’s activities.
Asked by Chairman Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., whether Comey had gone “rogue,” Yates responded: “You could use that term, yes.”
Yates also said she would not have signed off on the surveillance of former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page had she known that the FBI’s wire-tap warrant was deeply flawed.
Last year, the Justice Department’s internal watchdog found that the surveillance warrant was riddled with errors, raising questions about its justification.

8/6/2020 Senate Judiciary Committee Grills Fmr. Deputy AG Sally Yates by OAN Newsroom

oversight hearing on Capitol Hill in Washington, Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020, to examine the Crossfire Hurricane
investigation. Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., listens at right. (Erin Schaff/The New York Times via AP)
Former Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates took the hot seat on Capitol Hill where she was grilled by GOP lawmakers.    She made a video appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee Wednesday to answer questions on the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation, which is better known as the Russia probe.
Yates continued to deny allegations that Obama-era White House was investigating then-president-elect Donald Trump and his advisers after Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) pressed her on a suspicious meeting former President Obama had with then FBI Director James Comey.
“That meeting was not about an investigation at all and I can tell you that is something that would have crossed the line,” said Yates.    “And if President Obama or Vice President Biden or National Security Advisor Rice was in anyway trying to influence an investigation, that would have set off alarms for me.”
Senators were suspicious of why former President Obama seemed to know about Michael Flynn’s conversations with then-Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak before she did.    Yates said the purpose of that meeting was to find out if the transition team needed to be careful about sharing sensitive information with Flynn.
Yates also later claimed that Comey did not consult with her beforehand and “went rouge” when he met with the president as well as when he had the FBI interview Flynn.    That interview was what initially led to Flynn pleading guilty.
She then pivoted to defend the charges against Flynn by saying there was evidence that warranted the Obama administration’s skepticism of him.    She referenced his alleged conversation with Kislyak.
However, Senate Judiciary chairman Lindsey Graham (R) maintained that, instead, Yates took issue with Flynn’s desire to change policy regarding Russia. He insisted the general was prosecuted based on politics.
“You didn’t like Flynn changing the policy or talking about changing the policy,” said Graham.    “He had every right to do that and what we’re doing here is we’re criminalizing policy differences, that’s why Flynn got prosecuted because they hate his guts.”
Yates still denies knowing there were issues with FISA applications that she signed off on and denies knowing former associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr facilitated meetings between Christopher Steele and the FBI.

8/12/2020 Flynn attorney, DOJ face skeptical appeals court by Kristine Phillips, USA TODAY
WASHINGTON – Michael Flynn’s efforts to force an end to the criminal case against him faced a skeptical appeals court Tuesday, as judges questioned whether the presiding judge overstepped his authority when he refused to immediately dismiss the case.
At issue is whether U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan abused his discretion when he appointed a third party, known as an amicus, to challenge the Justice Department’s bid to drop its prosecution of President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser.
Many of the appeals court judges, several of whom were appointed by Democratic presidents, seemed sympathetic to Sullivan’s claims that he’s entitled to hear a challenge to the Justice Department’s motion to dismiss before ruling on it.     D.C. Circuit Court Judge Thomas Griffith, one of the only three judges on the panel who were appointed by Republican presidents, rejected the notion that a judge’s role is merely ministerial.
“It’s not ministerial.    You know it’s not.    The judge is not simply a rubber stamp,” Griffith told Flynn’s attorney, Sidney Powell.     “Aren’t you just arguing about what the judge must do to educate himself or herself (to be able to make a ruling)?
Powell argued that because the Justice Department had decided it no longer wanted to prosecute Flynn, Sullivan’s only role is to promptly grant dismissal, but he has, instead, appointed an amicus to “usurp” the role of prosecutors.    Sullivan’s actions have created an “unconstitutional” process that lacks any semblance of impartiality, and he has “so invested himself” for the purpose of prosecuting Flynn, Powell argued.
But D.C. Circuit Court Judge Cornelia Pillard seemed skeptical that Sullivan can only grant dismissal.    “Your position is, ‘No he can’t hear both sides of the law.    He has to drop the case like a hot potato?’”    The hearing, which lasted nearly four hours, is the latest in Flynn’s tangled criminal and political saga.    The nearly 4-year-old case has now led to an unusual legal battle in the federal appeals court in Washington, D.C., where both Flynn and the Justice Department sought to dismiss the case, while Sullivan – himself represented by an attorney – argued he’s entitled to scrutinize the government’s motives.
Flynn pleaded guilty in 2017 to lying to the FBI about his communications with a former Russian ambassador, but later reversed course, claiming investigators entrapped him into making false statements.    The Justice Department, too, reversed course, and sought to dismiss the case, arguing the interview during which Flynn made false statements was “unjustified.”
Instead of dismissing the case, Sullivan appointed a retired federal judge to challenge the Justice Department’s motion to dismiss and to determine whether Flynn had committed perjury for claiming he is innocent of a crime to which he had previously pleaded guilty.
In a 2-1 decision in June, an appeals court panel ruled in favor of Flynn and the Justice Department and ordered Sullivan to dismiss the case.    The panel ruled that Sullivan’s actions intruded on the Justice Department’s prosecutorial powers.    The full appeals court, in a rare move, granted Sullivan’s request to rehear the case.
During the hearing, acting Solicitor General Jeff Wall argued that Sullivan’s decision to request a rehearing has created an appearance that he can’t be impartial.

the daily news briefing at the White House, in Washington. (AP Photo/Carolyn Kaster)
The Department of Justice may not be able to sweep the case against former White House National Security advisor Michael Flynn under the rug.
On Tuesday, a full bench of 10 appellate court judges heard oral arguments, where Flynn’s lawyers and Acting Solicitor General Jeffery Wall argued to dismiss the case against Flynn.
“Well, you know, people sometimes people plea to things that turn out not to be crimes and the Department of Justice is not persuaded that this was material to any legitimate counterintelligence investigation, so it was not a crime,” stated U.S. Attorney General William Barr.
Wall argued that Barr’s decision to drop the charges in may stems from “non-public information.”    He said this came from other internal investigations into alleged Russian collusion and could not be presented to the court.
Flynn’s lawyers blasted U.S. District Judge Emmet Sullivan by accusing him of keeping the case alive out of political bias and discarding a judge’s role as an impartial adjudicator.
“Well, for some time I’ve been increasingly concerned that he was just not rational when it came to this case,” said Flynn attorney Sydney Powell.    “And it looks like it’s coming to the ultimate fruition.”
Flynn plead guilty to lying to the FBI in 2017 over his contacts with the Russian ambassador to the U.S. amid foreign interference allegations in the 2016 elections. He was scheduled to be sentenced in 2018 by Sullivan, but fired his legal team and went on the offensive to expunge himself of criminal charges.
In June, an appellate panel of three judges ruled in favor of Flynn and called for the Washington, D.C. District Court to cease prosecution.
Legal analysts believe the panel is likely to vote against Flynn, which would allow the the lower court to hear the Department of Justice’s arguments on why the legal proceedings should cease.
If this is the case, Flynn and his legal team will likely appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court and it would cause a spectacle for the     Trump administration through the November general election.

Senate Intelligence Committee chairman Lindsey Graham is confident the head of the FBI will enforce accountability within the bureau.    In a statement Thursday, Sen. Graham (R-S.C.) said he’s spoken with Christopher Wray and believes he’s committed to being helpful.
Senate Republicans are seeking information from the FBI about the origins of the Russia probe under the Obama administration.    Wray has been subpoenaed as part of those efforts, which also seek information on FISA abuses by top officials.
Graham believes the FBI director can maintain the privacy of bureau employees while offering transparency to the American people, but President Trump still has doubts about Wray’s intentions.
“I wish he was more forthcoming, he certainly hasn’t been,” the president stated.    “There are documents they want to get and that we have said we want to get…we’re going to find out if he’s going to give those documents, but certainly he’s been very, very protective.”
Wray has said he’s committed to holding anyone accountable at the FBI that has violated the law or policy.    He’s also suggested the issue is being looked into by U.S. attorney John Durham.

A former FBI lawyer is reportedly planning to plead guilty to altering evidence in John Durham’s review of the Russia investigation.    According to reports, Kevin Clinesmith allegedly altered a government email about former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.
Clinesmith was referred for potential prosecution by the Justice Department’s Inspector General’s Office and will be charged in federal court in Washington.
President Trump touched on the guilty plea this week and said he imagines this is just the beginning.
“We have some very interesting news: Kevin Clinesmith, a corrupt FBI attorney who falsified FISA warrants in James Comey’s very corrupt FBI, is expected to plead guilty,” he said.    “You probably heard that, it just came out.”
Attorney General William Barr hinted at the potential development on Thursday and added he’s satisfied with the progress.

He was a former FBI lawyer, wrote anti-Trump texts with former top FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page.    According to the Washington Times, Clinesmith “worked on the 2016 probe into Hillary Clinton’s email use [known as Mid-Year-Exam], then worked on the FBI’s original investigation into the Trump campaign [known as Crossfire Hurricane] and, eventually, with the special counsel’s investigation into Mr. Trump’s presidential campaign.”
Clinesmith, like Strzok, was let go from Mueller’s investigative team once his anti-Trump texts were uncovered by the FBI inspector general (IG), who is tasked with uncovering wrongdoing at the FBI.    “Viva le resistance,” Clinesmith said in one text.

8/19/2020 New Senate report calls Manafort ‘grave’ threat - Panel took last look into 2016 Russian interference by Kristine Phillips and Kevin Johnson, USA TODAY
WASHINGTON – Paul Manafort’s role as chairman of the Trump campaign, his longstanding ties to people affiliated with Russian intelligence services, and his willingness to share information with them “represented a grave counterintelligence threat” during the 2016 presidential race, according to a new report from the Senate Intelligence Committee.
“The Committee found that Manafort’s presence on the Campaign and proximity to Trump created opportunities for Russian intelligence services to exert influence over, and acquire confidential information on, the Trump campaign,” according to the nearly 1,000 page report released Tuesday.
The bipartisan report gives a comprehensive account of contacts between Trump campaign aides and Russian actors.    It confirms the findings by former special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation that Russia sought to sway the 2016 race in Trump’s favor and that members of the president’s campaign were eager beneficiaries of the effort, although there was no evidence of a conspiracy with the Kremlin.
Manafort was released to home confinement in May due to the risk posed by the spread of the coronavirus in federal prison after he received a combined sentence of just more than seven years.
The heavily redacted report, released just three months before the presidential election, is the final installment from the Republican-led committee’s three-year probe into Russian election meddling.
The report also provides an unflattering look of the FBI, which the committee said gave “unjustified credence” on the findings of a former British intelligence officer, or the so-called Steele dossier, as it sought court approvals to wiretap former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.    A separate report by the Justice Department’s inspector general found several errors and misstatements in applications to wiretap Page, although it concluded that the broader Russia investigation was legitimate.
Democrats highlighted findings about Trump campaign officials contacts with Russian actors.
Sen. Mark Werner, D-Virginia and the committee’s vice chairman, said the “breathtaking level of contacts between Trump officials and Russian government operatives” is a “very real counterintelligence threat to our elections.”
The report delves into Manafort’s ties with Konstantin Kilimnik, a longtime business associate with whom Manafort worked as part of his lobbying efforts in Ukraine and Russia. While Mueller’s investigators described Kilimnik as someone with ties to Russian intelligence, the committee called Kilimnik “a Russian intelligence officer,” with whom Manafort “sought to secretly share” sensitive internal polling data from the Trump campaign.

8/19/2020 Senate report on Russia calls Manafort ‘grave’ threat by Kristine Phillips and Kevin Johnson by USA TODAY
WASHINGTON – Paul Manafort’s role as chairman of the Trump campaign, his longstanding ties to people affiliated with Russian intelligence services and his willingness to share information with them “represented a grave counterintelligence threat” during the 2016 presidential race, according to a new report from the Senate Intelligence Committee.     “The Committee found that Manafort’s presence on the Campaign and proximity to Trump created opportunities for Russian intelligence services to exert influence over, and acquire confidential information on, the Trump campaign,” according to the nearly 1,000-page report released Tuesday.
The wide-ranging, bipartisan report gives a comprehensive account of contacts between Russian actors and Trump associates, including Manafort and Donald Trump Jr., the president’s eldest son. It confirms the findings by former special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation that Russia sought to sway the 2016 race in Trump’s favor and that members of the president’s campaign were eager beneficiaries of the effort, although there was no evidence of a conspiracy with the Kremlin.
Manafort was released to home confinement in May because of the risk posed by the spread of the coronavirus in federal prison after being sentenced to more than seven years.    His attorneys didn’t respond to requests for comment.    The heavily redacted report, released just three months before the presidential election, is the final installment from the Republican-led committee’s three-year probe into Russian election meddling.
“We can say, without any hesitation, that the Committee found absolutely no evidence that then-candidate Donald Trump or his campaign colluded with the Russian government to meddle in the 2016 election,” said Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., the committee’s acting chairman.    “What the Committee did find, however, is very troubling.    We found irrefutable evidence of Russian meddling.”
The Trump campaign cast the Senate panel’s findings as yet more proof that there was no conspiracy with Russia.
“The Russia Collusion Hoax is the greatest political scandal in the history of this country,” Tim Murtaugh, Trump 2020 communications director, said in a statement.
Sen. Richard Burr, R-N.C., the committee’s former chair who oversaw much of the investigation, struck a more neutral tone.
“One of the Committee’s most important – and overlooked – findings is that much of Russia’s activities weren’t related to producing a specific electoral outcome, but attempted to undermine our faith in the democratic process itself.    Their aim is to sow chaos, discord, and distrust.    Their efforts are not limited to elections.    The threat is ongoing,” Burr said.
Democrats, meanwhile, highlighted findings about Trump campaign officials’ contacts with Russian actors.
    The committee’s vice chairman.
The bipartisan report is the final installment from the Republican-led committee’s three-year inquiry into Russian election meddling.
Sen. Mark Warner, D-Va., said the “breathtaking level of contacts between Trump officials and Russian government operatives” is a “very real counterintelligence threat to our elections.”
“This is what collusion looks like,” said Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., chair of the House Intelligence Committee, echoing Senate Democrats.
The report delves deeply into Manafort’s ties with Konstantin Kilimnik, a longtime business associate with whom Manafort worked as part of his lobbying efforts in Ukraine and Russia.
While Mueller’s investigators described Kilimnik as someone with ties to Russian intelligence, the committee called him “a Russian intelligence officer” with whom Manafort “sought to secretly share” sensitive internal polling data from the Trump campaign.    The committee, however, was unable to determine why Manafort did so or with whom Kilimnik shared the information.
During and after the 2016 campaign, Manafort and Kilimnik spoke and met multiple times.    The two talked about strategies to defeat Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, according to the report, citing a conversation Kilimnik had with an associate in which he said Manafort had a “clever plan of screwing Clinton.”    The two also talked about how Trump might win, the report said, noting that Manafort expected Kilimnik to share the information to people in Ukraine and elsewhere.
The report said Kilimnik sought to leverage his relationship with Manafort and use him to influence the Trump administration and Moscow “to effect a certain political outcome.”
The committee also said Kilimnik may have been tied to the Russian intelligence “hack and leak” operations during the 2016 campaign.    The committee said it obtained information suggesting that Kilimnik may have been the channel for Russian intelligence officials to coordinate the hacking operation, although it acknowledged its evidence is limited.
Manafort is one of half a dozen former Trump aides and associates who were indicted as a result of the Mueller investigation.    The Senate panel’s findings on Manafort and Kilimnik mirrored some of those in Mueller’s report.
Manafort had told Mueller’s investigators that he did not believe his longtime associate was also working as a Russian spy.    Mueller’s team noted that Manafort’s partner, Rick Gates, had suspected Kilimnik was a “spy” and shared that assessment with Manafort.
In one of two meetings with Kilimnik during his tenure as Trump campaign chairman, “Manafort briefed Kilimnik on the state of the Trump Campaign and Manafort’s plan to win the election,” the Mueller report concluded.    “That briefing encompassed the campaign’s messaging and its internal polling data.    According to Gates, it also included discussion of ‘battleground’ states, which Manafort identified as Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Minnesota.”
Early last year, a federal judge found that Manafort had lied repeatedly to federal prosecutors about his contacts with Kilimnik, ultimately upending a plea deal Manafort had struck with Mueller’s team.    Among the contested exchanges, prosecutors asserted that Manafort lied about having provided polling data to Kilimnik.
In 2018, Manafort and Kilimnik were charged together with trying to obstruct Mueller’s inquiry by seeking to block the testimony of at least two witnesses.
The case prompted a judge to revoke Manafort’s bail and order him to jail to await separate trials on a slew of financial fraud charges in Alexandria, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., where he was ultimately convicted.
The report also provides an unflattering look at the FBI, which the committee said gave “unjustified credence” on the findings of a former British intelligence officer, or the so-called Steele dossier, as it sought court approvals to wiretap former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.
Republicans seized on this finding to criticize the FBI’s investigation of the Trump campaign during the early days of the Russia investigation.
“We discovered deeply troubling actions taken by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, particularly their acceptance and willingness to rely on the ‘Steele Dossier’ without verifying its methodology or sourcing,” Rubio said.

[The Democrats and Mueller have not caught or punished any Russians and only attacked a man who worked with 5 presidents who did their dirty work for them and it is only because Trump was running for president that they went after him and after failing to come up with anything they had to use the FBI to do corrupt things to try to find anything on Trump and as you have seen they have destroyed many persons lives and as recent times are showing that it is all coming to light for America to see and the upcoming election will determine the future of this country.].

8/20/2020 Ex-FBI lawyer pleads guilty to false email in Russia case by Kristine Phillips and Kevin Johnson USA TODAY
WASHINGTON – Former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith pleaded guilty Wednesday to falsifying an email used to support the surveillance of President Donald Trump’s former campaign aide Carter Page.     The case against Clinesmith is the first to be brought by federal prosecutor John Durham, appointed last year by Attorney General William Barr to review the origins of the FBI’s investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election.
Clinesmith, who worked at the FBI for four years, is accused of altering an email in 2017 that investigators relied on to justify an application to wiretap Page, according to court records.    The altered email indicated that Page was “not a source” for the Central Intelligence Agency.    The original email from the CIA indicated otherwise.
During a brief court appearance via telephone Wednesday, Clinesmith admitted that he altered the email but said he believed at the time that the information he added was accurate.
Clinesmith, who provided legal advice to investigators working on the Russia investigation, told an FBI agent in an instant message that Page was “never a source” for the government, according to court records.    The CIA had told investigators in a memo that Page was an “operational contact” for the agency from 2008 to 2013 and provided information about his contacts with Russian intelligence officers
.
Last year, a report by the Justice Department’s inspector general revealed errors in surveillance applications on Page.    The inspector general’s office, which revealed that Clinesmith doctored the email, referred the matter to the Justice Department.
[THEY CAN'T WHITEWASH THIS DOWN AND TRY TO MAKE THIS FBI LAWYER TO TAKE THE FALL FOR THE DEEP STATE HAD HIM CHNAGE THE DOCUMENTS TO COVER UP THEIR CRIME TO THE FISA SURVELLANCE COURT AFTER REALIZING THAT PAGE WAS NOT WHAT THEY WANTED AFTERWARD BUT HAD TO DO IT ANYWAY AND BEFORE THIS IS ALL OVER I HOPE THAT DURHAM HAS DISCOVERED THAT THIS GOES TO THE VERY TOP OF THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION WHICH TELLS YOU WHY OBAMA HAS GOT HIS CLAWS IN EVERYTHING OF THE BIDEN ELECTION TO ALLOW THEM TO COVER IT UP MORE .].

8/25/2020 27 ex-GOP lawmakers to endorse Biden by William Cummings, USA TODAY
Jeff Flake, who had been one of the leading Republican critics of President Donald Trump in the Senate, announced Monday he will vote for Joe Biden in November, because the “conservative cause would be better served for the long term if the Democrats prevail.”
“Indifference to the truth or to the careful stewardship of the institutions of American liberty is not conservative,” Flake said, deriding Trump’s leadership in a video statement.    “Disregard for the separation of powers, the centerpiece of our constitutional system, is not conservative. Governing by tweet is not conservative.”
Biden “will approach the constitutional role with the reverence and dignity it deserves,” he said.
“So it is because of my conservatism, and because of my belief in the Constitution, and in the separation of power – and because I am gravely concerned about the conduct and behavior of our current president – that I stand here today, proudly and wholeheartedly, to endorse Joe Biden as the next president of the United States of America,” he continued.
Go Joe.”
Flake joined a group of more than two dozen former Republican members of Congress who announced their support for Biden earlier Monday, hours before the start of the Republican National Convention.
The Biden campaign said in a statement that the 27 former GOP lawmakers believe President Donald Trump’s “failures” in office “have superseded partisanship.”
“In a strong rebuke to the current administration, these former members of Congress cited Trump’s corruption, destruction of democracy, blatant disregard for moral decency, and urgent need to get the country back on course as a reason why they support Biden,” the statement said.
The campaign said Monday’s announcement signaled the launch of Republicans for Biden, a “national effort to engage Republicans who are supporting Biden this fall” and encourage them to organize support for the Democratic candidate.
Three former senators are included in the group: Flake, Gordon Humphrey of New Hampshire and John Warner of Virginia.
Flake, who served six terms in the House before joining the Senate in 2013, had indicated he would be willing to support a Democratic candidate over Trump.    Trump derided Flake as “weak and ineffective” as far back as the 2016 campaign, and the two Republicans were often at odds during the president’s first two years in office.
After the 2018 midterms, Trump said he was the reason Flake did not seek reelection.
Warner left the Senate in 2009 after 30 years, including three stints as chairman of the Armed Services Committee.    He said in March he was backing the “thoroughly tested” Biden over Trump, whom he called a “gamble.”    Humphrey served two terms in the Senate, leaving in 1990.
The 24 former GOP House members supporting Biden are:
Steve Bartlett of Texas
William Clinger of Pennsylvania
Tom Coleman of Missouri
Charlie Dent of Pennsylvania
Charles Djou of Hawaii
Mickey Edwards of Oklahoma
Wayne Gilchrest of Maryland
Jim Greenwood of Pennsylvania
Bob Inglis of South Carolina
Jim Kolbe of Arizona

Mike Parker of Mississippi
Jack Quinn of New York
Claudine Schneider of Rhode Island
Christopher Shays of Connecticut
Peter Smith of Vermont
Alan Steelman of Texas
Jim Walsh of New York
William Whitehurst of Virginia
Dick Zimmer of New Jersey
Other Republicans have rejected Trump and endorsed Biden, including former Ohio Gov. John Kasich, former New Jersey Gov. Christine Todd Whitman and former Secretary of State Colin Powell, all of whom spoke at the Democratic National Convention last week and we already new they were part of it.

Committee hearing on     Capitol Hill, in Washington. (AP Photo/Andrew Harnik, File)
Former FBI Director James Comey has denied his alleged role in the “Obamagate” scandal.    During a recent interview, he attempted to ridicule the probe, which has been investigating the origins of the Russian hoax.
“I’m not worried at all about that investigation of the investigation,” stated Comey.    “Next, I’m sure will be an investigation of the investigation of the investigation.”
The former FBI chief alleged the probe, led by U.S. Attorney John Durham, could be a partisan endeavor.    His dismissal of the effort comes despite evidence of FISA abuses and efforts to spy on the Trump campaign, which initially prompted the investigation.
According to Comey, he still believes he did nothing wrong.
“I can’t imagine that I’m a target,” he said.    “Given that I know what happened during 2016, which was a bunch of people trying to do the right thing consistent with the law, they just want to have an investigation to talk about.”
He added he hasn’t spoken or sat down for an interview with Durham.
However, it was reported earlier this year the Justice Department was investigating Comey over a possible leak of classified information.    The status of the probe is currently unclear.

9/5/2020 President Trump Directs Federal Agencies To Ban ‘Critical Race Theory’ Trainings by OAN Newsroom

President Trump has ordered the White House Office of Management and Budget to purge “critical race theory” trainings from the federal government.
Agency Director Russell Vought announced the directive in a memo, which was sent to federal agencies on Friday.    He tweeted, “the days of taxpayer funded indoctrination trainings that sow division and racism are over.”
“Critical race theory” closely examines the relationship between race racism and power.
According to reports indicated in the memo, federal employees have been forced to attend these trainings and were told “virtually all white people contribute to racism.”    Further reports claimed employees have been taught that America is an “inherently racist or evil country.”
Reports also stated the theory is the underpinning of Antifa, “Black Lives Matter” and other radical leftist groups.
The new mandate has called these training sessions “un-American.”    The memo emphasized the president has a proven track record of standing up for all Americans, regardless of race, religion or creed.
President Trump commented on the mandate in a Twitter post.    He encouraged people “to report any sightings, so we can quickly extinguish” the “sickness.”

9/6/2020 Trump targets anti-racism training courses by Zeke Miller, ASSOCIATED PRESS
WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump directed the Office of Management and Budget to crack down on federal agencies’ anti-racism training sessions, calling them “divisive, anti-American propaganda.”
OMB director Russell Vought, in a letter Friday to executive branch agencies, directed them to identify spending related to any training on “critical race theory,” “white privilege” or any other material that teaches or suggests that the United States or any race or ethnicity is “inherently racist or evil.”
The memo cames as the nation has faced a reckoning this summer over racial injustice in policing and other spheres of American life.    Trump has defended the display of the Confederate battle flag and monuments of Civil War rebels from protesters seeking their removal, in what he has called a “culture war” before the Nov. 3 election.
Trump has rejected comments from Democratic nominee Joe Biden and others that there is “systemic racism” in policing.
Vought’s memo cites “press reports” as contributing to Trump’s decision, apparently referring to segments on Fox News and other outlets.

9/8/2020 Biden Publicly Condemns Antifa Following Criticism From The Right

Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden finally denounced far-left militant group Antifa, which has created chaos across the nation.    During an interview Monday, the former vice president said he does not condone violence on either side.
“I’ve condemned it across the board,” he stated.    “The president still hasn’t condemned the far-right folks coming out and protesting and using violence.”
When asked specifically if he condemned the acts of Antifa, Biden said “yes” and noted that he condemns “violence, no matter who it is.”
His remarks came after the Democrat faced criticism from the right for not outright denouncing Antifa.    However, Biden’s remarks came a little too late as countless cities across the country have continued to face ongoing unrest with the violence being largely attributed to the far-left group.

President Trump has speculated Biden has not directly condemned the group in the past because they are on the same side.
"The violent rioters share Biden’s same talking points and they share his same agenda for our nation," said the president.    “…Antifa is the problem…the rioters and Joe Biden have a side…they’re both on the side of the radical left and that is so obvious.”
While speaking at a roundtable in Kenosha, Wisconsin last week, President Trump reiterated his commitment to stop the violence.
“My administration is restoring public safety,” he stated.    “We’re hiring more police, surging tough on crime, federal prosecutors, increasing penalties for assaulting law enforcement and for dismantling Antifa.”
Meanwhile, the Department of Justice and Department of Homeland Security are working together to investigate “left-wing civil unrest.”    The president said the operations will focus on tracking down “rioters, looters and arsonists” to bring them to justice.

9/9/2020 Trump Targeting WikiLeaks’ Assange As ‘Political Enemy’, UK Court Told by Michael Holden

LONDON (Reuters) – WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange is wanted by the United States because he is a “political enemy” of President Donald Trump, his London extradition hearing was told on Wednesday.
Australian-born Assange, 49, is fighting against being sent to the United States, where he is charged with conspiring to hack government computers and violating an espionage law over the release of confidential cables by WikiLeaks in 2010-2011.
Paul Rogers, a professor of peace studies at Britain’s Bradford University, told London’s Old Bailey court that the timing of the U.S. prosecution was connected to Assange’s political views and Trump’s hostility toward him.
“The evidence does support very strongly … this does appear to be a political trial,” Rogers said.
Assange and WikiLeaks enraged the U.S. government a decade ago by publishing thousands of secret American documents, but he was not charged with any criminal offense at the time.
His supporters see him as a champion of free speech exposing abuses of power and hypocrisy by Washington and regard his prosecution as threat to journalism.    U.S. authorities say he recklessly endangered the lives of sources with his releases.
Rogers said the Trump administration viewed Assange as a “political enemy” because of his opinions.    Assange’s defense team are arguing the U.S. case is politically-motivated, something which would bar his extradition.
“The opinions and views of Mr Assange, demonstrated in his words and actions with the organization WikiLeaks over many years, can be seen as very clearly placing him in the crosshairs of dispute with the philosophy of the Trump administration,” Rogers said in his statement to the court.
James Lewis, the lawyer representing the United States, challenged the assertion the case was politically-motivated, saying U.S. federal prosecutors were forbidden to consider political opinion in making their decisions.
“I’m not saying they are acting in bad faith,” Rogers said.    “I’m saying that at a different level, a political decision was taken to investigate this further after it had lapsed for eight years.”
Assange was warned by the judge on Tuesday he would be removed from the courtroom and tried in his absence if he interrupted proceedings after Assange shouting “nonsense” at Lewis.

Former FBI agent Peter Strzok has levied new attacks on President Trump after accusing him of being “compromised.”
“I spent over two decades recruiting spies and supervising counterintelligence investigations throughout the United States and around the world,” said Strzok.    “There’s nobody who has done that kind of work who does not believe that the president is compromised.”     During an interview while promoting his new book Tuesday, the disgraced former FBI agent attempted to defend the Russia probe by claiming there was evidence foreign agents are influencing the president.    He also denied the probe was motivated by an anti-Trump bias despite his texts to Lisa Page showing otherwise.
“Look, every agent has their own opinion, I have my own personal opinion as well,” Strzok stated.    “Every day, though, around the United States, government employees walk into their jobs and they leave their political opinions at the door…they do their job like I did my job, objectively, independently and in pursuit of the truth.”
The White House said Strzok is a disgruntled employee who was fired for his lack of professionalism.    Officials also noted that his book, title “Compromised," “isn’t worth the paper it’s printed on.”

9/10/2020 U.S. Blacklists Ukrainian Accused Of Meddling In 2020 Election by Jonathan Landay and Daphne Psaledakis

enforcement agencies to interfere in electoral process in U.S.", in Kiev, Ukraine October 9, 2019. REUTERS/Gleb Garanich
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – The United States on Thursday imposed sanctions on a pro-Russian Ukrainian lawmaker linked to Republican efforts to dig up dirt on Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son Hunter, accusing him of trying to interfere in the U.S. election.
In a statement, the U.S. Treasury Department said it had blacklisted Ukrainian parliamentarian Andriy Derkach, who it accused of being “an active Russian agent for over a decade,” using “manipulation and deceit” in his effort to influence elections in the United States and around the world.
Derkach’s name has repeatedly come up in connection with unsubstantiated allegations by President Donald Trump, his personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, and some Republican lawmakers that Hunter Biden used his influence with his father to help Burisma, an energy company on whose board he sat, and that Joe Biden pressured Ukraine to fire a top prosecutor who had investigated the firm.
Derkach did not immediately return a message seeking comment, but told Politico in July it was “nonsense” that he is trying to interfere in the U.S. election.
Democrats allege that Derkach has helped orchestrate the Biden allegations.    They and others have expressed particular alarm over Derkach’s ties to Giuliani, as well as the Ukrainian’s boasts about feeding material to U.S. legislators.
A spokesman for the Biden campaign declined to comment.
Democratic Representative Adam Schiff, the House Intelligence Committee chairman who led last year’s impeachment proceedings against Trump over his efforts to pressure Ukraine to investigate the Bidens, called Derkach’s blacklisting “appropriate and welcome.”
“This announcement should serve as a reminder to those in the United States that have elevated Derkach’s disinformation and engaged with him and other foreign actors spreading similar false narratives, that their work only advances Vladimir Putin’s interests and efforts.    Americans alone should decide American elections,” he said in a statement.
Derkach has previously disseminated information about Hunter Biden and Burisma that Giuliani has cited as evidence in his criticisms of the Biden family.
Giuliani did not immediately respond to a request for comment, but the former New York mayor has told the Washington Post that he has had frequent contacts with Derkach.    The pair met in December during a trip to Ukraine as part of an effort by Trump’s allies to obtain damaging information about Biden.
Derkach also told Politico earlier this year that he notified Republican and Democratic lawmakers about materials he has published and aired at his news conferences. Among them was Republican Senator Ron Johnson, who is overseeing an investigation of the Bidens as chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, he said.     A message left with Johnson’s office was not immediately returned.    Johnson has denied receiving any information from Derkach and rejected Democratic allegations that his investigation is being fueled by Russian disinformation.
The Treasury’s move on Thursday also targeted three Russian nationals that it said were employees of Russia’s Internet Research Agency (IRA), which was indicted by former U.S. Special Counsel Robert Mueller as part of his probe into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election.
One of the employees, Artem Lifshits, was separately charged by the U.S. Justice Department in a conspiracy to use stolen identities of Americans as part of an operation to “disrupt the democratic process and spread distrust towards candidates for political office.”
“The United States will continue to use all the tools at its disposal to counter these Russian disinformation campaigns and uphold the integrity of our election system,” Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin said in Thursday’s statement.
Treasury’s measures freeze any U.S. assets of those blacklisted and generally bar Americans from dealing with them.

[All of us are not stupid as we all have seen the video of Joe Biden stating that if the Ukrainian prosecutor of Burmisa is not fired then the U.S. money of 1 billion dollars will not be given to Ukraine and he denies it even though it is on video and that is why Trump calls Biden Quid Pro Quo Joe who actually did what the Left tried to do to Trump with the Impeachment and I expect that Trump will show that video during any president upcoming debates and lets see if he will lie directly to the citizens or just read off teleprompter written by Kamala who is good at lying also.].

Attorney General William Barr has remained quiet on the details of John Durham’s probe, but said he won’t rule out further criminal charges.
Barr suggested “there could be” more charges in connection with the Inspector General report during an interview Wednesday.    He refused to comment if the report was coming before the election or if there would be an interim report before that time.
The attorney general acknowledged some people could accuse an interim report of trying to influence the election, but said he’ll do what’s right in the public interest.
“As I’ve already said, I’m conscious of the election and I don’t think any of the things that are being worked on are going to have an adverse effect on that,” he stated.    “I also think there’s strong public interest involved as well.”
Last month, Barr said there were “significant developments” in the Durham probe.    Former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith pleaded guilty to falsifying an email, which marked the first criminal case to come out of the probe.

WASHINGTON/MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russia and China dismissed on Friday allegations by Microsoft Corp that hackers linked to Moscow and Beijing were trying to spy on people tied to both U.S. President Donald Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden.
Advisers to both presidential campaigns are assessing risks from digital spies around the globe, as the two candidates face off on Nov. 3 in one of the most consequential U.S. presidential elections in decades.
The Microsoft report, which also mentioned Iran, came as Reuters revealed one of Biden’s main campaign advisory firms had been warned by the software giant that it was in the crosshairs of the same Russian hackers who intervened in the 2016 U.S. election.
Speaking at a joint press conference in Moscow with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said China has never meddled in U.S. affairs.    Lavrov, in turn, said accusations of Russia using hackers to meddle in the United States’ internal affairs were “unsubstantiated.”
“Russia has not interfered, is not interfering and does not intend to interfere in anyone’s internal affairs, or electoral processes,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters separately on Friday.
The announcement by Microsoft’s vice president for customer security, Tom Burt, said the group accused of breaching Hillary Clinton’s campaign emails in 2016 – a Russian military intelligence-linked unit widely known as Fancy Bear – had spent the past year trying to break into accounts belonging to political consultants serving both Republicans and Democrats as well as advocacy organizations and think tanks.
Burt also said Chinese hackers had gone after people “closely associated with U.S. presidential campaigns and candidates” – including an unnamed Biden ally who was targeted through a personal email address and “at least one prominent individual formerly associated with the Trump Administration.”
The Department of Homeland Security’s top cyber official, Christopher Krebs, said Microsoft’s warning was consistent with earlier statements issued by the intelligence community about Russian, Chinese, and Iranian spying on election-related targets.
China’s foreign affair ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said earlier on Friday that China has no interest in the U.S. election and has never interfered in it.    The U.S. was an “empire of hackers,” he said at his daily news briefing in Beijing.

9/16/2020 WikiLeaks Acted In Public Interest, ‘Pentagon Papers’ Leaker Tells Assange Hearing by Michael Holden

LONDON (Reuters) – The man who leaked the “Pentagon Papers” about the Vietnam War defended Julian Assange at his London extradition hearing on Wednesday, saying WikiLeaks had acted in the public interest and warning Assange would not get a fair trial in the United States.
Australian-born Assange, 49, is fighting to stop being sent to the United States, where he is charged with conspiring to hack government computers and violating an espionage law over the release of confidential cables by WikiLeaks in 2010-2011.
Daniel Ellsberg, who in 1971 leaked documents known as the Pentagon Papers to the New York Times and other papers, told the court that WikiLeaks’ disclosures had shown Americans how they had been misled about U.S action in Iraq and Afghanistan just as his leaks, which also revealed previously secret information, did about the Vietnam War.
Ellsberg cited a U.S. military video, which WikiLeaks published in 2010 under the title “Collateral Murder,” showing a 2007 attack by Apache helicopters in Baghdad that killed a dozen people, including two Reuters news staff.
“I was acutely aware that what was depicted in that video deserved the term murder, a war crime,” he told London’s Old Bailey court via videolink.    “I was very glad that the American public was confronted with this reality of our war.”
James Lewis, the lawyer representing the U.S. authorities, said Assange was not wanted for publishing the 2007 video but for disclosing a small number of documents with the unredacted names of sources or informants.
Lewis said many of these had suffered harm or threats because they had been named.    He said some had disappeared, although he conceded that there was no evidence this was directly linked to the WikiLeaks’ publication.
“How can you possibly say … that there is no evidence that Mr Assange’s publication of WikiLeaks put anyone in danger.    That’s just pure nonsense,” Lewis said.
Ellsberg, who was himself charged with breaking the espionage law in a case that was later dismissed, said there was no evidence of physical harm or deaths because of the leaks.    The exchange with Lewis led to an outburst from Assange in the courtroom, with the judge warning him to remain silent.
REDACTIONS
Earlier, John Goetz, an investigative reporter who worked for Germany’s Der Spiegel magazine on the first publication of the documents in 2010, said Assange was careful to ensure that the names of informants in hundreds of thousands of leaked secret U.S. government documents were never published.
Goetz said WikiLeaks was frustrated when a password that allowed access to the full, unredacted material was published in a book by Guardian reporters in February 2011.
Assange’s lawyers argue that he would not receive a fair trial in the United States and that the charges are politically motivated.    They have also said he would be a suicide risk if sent to the United States, where they say he could be sentenced to 175 years in prison.
In 2012, Assange took refuge in Ecuador’s London embassy to avoid extradition to Sweden where he was accused of sex crimes, which he denied and which were later dropped.    After seven years, he was dragged from the embassy by British police in 2019 and then jailed for skipping bail related to the Swedish case.
He has remained in prison ever since, after the United States made its extradition request.

On Wednesday, the Senate Homeland Security Committee voted to approve dozens of subpoenas related to the Obama administration’s Russia investigation.    The panel has approved calling upwards of 40 people, including former FBI Director James Comey and former CIA Director John Brennan.
Chairman Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) explained he had pulled the vote on a subpoena for U.S. Ambassador to Slovakia Bridget Brink, which is related to his Hunter Biden-Burisma investigation.    According to Johnson, the ambassador will voluntarily cooperate with the panel.
Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) has since voiced his concern that issuing subpoenas this close to an election appears to be “a political exercise.”
“Obviously it’s only the province of campaigns, political parties, opposition research, the media to carry out political endeavors…, but it’s not the legitimate role of government, for Congress or for taxpayer expense, to be used in an effort to damage political opponents,” stated Sen. Romney.    “Therefore, I am pleased that our votes today do not include additional authorizations relating to the, I’ll call it, Biden-Burisma investigation.”

9/18/2020 Assange Lawyer Says She Saw Trump Ally Offer To Arrange Pardon by Andrew MacAskill

LONDON (Reuters) – A lawyer for Julian Assange told a London court on Friday that she was present when an ally of U.S. President Donald Trump offered to arrange a pardon for the WikiLeaks founder in return for information that would “benefit President Trump politically.”
Australian-born Assange, 49, is fighting to avoid being sent to the United States, where he is charged with conspiring to hack government computers and violating an espionage law over the release of confidential cables by WikiLeaks in 2010-2011.
His lawyer, Jennifer Robinson, said in a witness statement to the court that she observed a meeting at the Ecuadorian embassy in London in 2017 between Assange and Republican then-U.S. Representative Dana Rohrabacher.
She said Rohrabacher and an assistant offered to arrange a pardon for Assange in return for information about the hacking of Democratic emails before the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
“They stated that President Trump was aware of and had approved of them coming to meet with Mr Assange to discuss a proposal – and that they would have an audience with the President to discuss the matter on their return to Washington DC,” she said.
proposal put forward by Congressman Rohrabacher was that Mr. Assange identify the source for the 2016 election publications in return for some form of pardon, assurance or agreement, which would both benefit President Trump politically and prevent U.S. indictment and extradition,” Robinson said.
Assange’s legal team first said at hearings in February that Rohrabacher had conveyed a pardon offer to Assange.    At the time, the White House called the assertion that Trump had tried to reach a deal with Assange “a complete fabrication and a total lie.”
Rohrabacher said he had never spoken with the president about Assange, denied being sent on Trump’s behalf and said he was acting on his own when he offered to ask Trump for a pardon for Assange.
Robinson said Rohrabacher’s offer was presented to Assange as a “win-win” solution that would allow Assange “to get on with his life” and in return would also politically benefit Trump.
During the 2016 U.S. presidential campaign, WikiLeaks published a series of Democratic National Committee emails damaging to candidate Hillary Clinton.    U.S. investigators have concluded that the emails were hacked by Russia as part of an effort to influence the election.
The 2016 election leaks are not directly a part of the U.S. criminal case against Assange, which covers secret military and diplomatic documents published by WikiLeaks several years earlier.
Russia has denied meddling in the 2016 election and Trump has denied that his campaign colluded with Moscow.
Assange is fighting the U.S. extradition request, arguing that the Trump administration has brought charges against him for political reasons.
In 2012, Assange took refuge in Ecuador’s London embassy to avoid extradition to Sweden where he was accused of sex crimes, which he denied and which were later dropped.    After seven years, he was dragged from the embassy by British police in 2019.br> (Reporting by Andrew MacAskill; Editing by Guy Faulconbridge, William Maclean and Peter Graff)

9/18/2020 Fox News Is Accused of Hiding George Soros’s Influence by Davey Alba
Perhaps no figure gets more attention in conspiracy circles than George Soros, the billionaire investor and Democratic donor.    For years, he has been cast as an anticonservative villain by a loose network of activists and political figures on the right.    And in recent months, he has become a convenient boogeyman for misinformation artists who have falsely claimed that he funds spontaneous Black Lives Matter protests as well as antifa, the decentralized and largely online, far-left activist network that opposes President Trump.
Mr. Soros popped up again on Friday, this time with an unusual twist: a claim that Fox News, a channel that regularly airs criticism of Mr. Soros, was working to hide his influence.
The No. 1 post among public Facebook pages on Friday morning was an article about Mr. Soros published by the far-right website Breitbart.    The article said Fox News had “attempted to silence” Newt Gingrich, the former Republican House speaker, on a show that aired Wednesday when Mr. Gingrich brought up Mr. Soros’s role in supporting local prosecutors in elections.
On the show, Mr. Gingrich claimed that the main cause of violence at the recent Black Lives Matter protests was the “George Soros-elected, left-wing, anti-police, pro-criminal district attorneys who refuse to keep people locked up.”
Melissa Francis, a Fox News anchor, then said, “I’m not sure we need to bring George Soros into this.”
The Breitbart article, which was published on Thursday, quickly went viral across the far-right online community.    It generated nearly 300,000 likes, comments and shares on Facebook, reaching nearly 10 million people.
“This is the power of #GeorgeSoros,” Glenn Beck, the conservative radio host and conspiracy theorist, said in a tweet on Wednesday with nearly 6,000 likes, comments and retweets.    “This is how the media and Now Fox News bows down at his feet.”
Laura Silber, a spokeswoman for the Open Society Foundations, a philanthropic group founded by Mr. Soros, said in an email that “Speaker Gingrich seemed to have his say.”
“His fellow panelist merely pointed out that the speaker was seeking to distract viewers from the real issues at hand,” Ms. Silber said.    “We welcome a robust debate about the criminal justice system, the root causes of crime.”
On Thursday, a Fox News host addressed the previous day’s interruption.    “Our guest, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, who is beloved and needed to be allowed to speak with the openness and respect that the show was all about, was interrupted,” the anchor, Harris Faulkner, said.
Melissa Ryan, chief executive of Card Strategies, a consulting firm that researches disinformation, said right-wing media, influencers and even elected officials frequently invoked Mr. Soros’s name.
“Conspiracies about George Soros at this point are boilerplate for any right-wing conspiracy,” she said.
George Soros, George Soros, George Soros...did George Soros buy Fox News?    I believe all those Democrat mayors who refused the offered federal help from the President during their cities’ street violence & murders.....ALL of those mayors should be held accountable for NOT stopping all that violent action as soon as law & order are fully restored.
[I will not put anything past George Soros to try to interfere in the Trump-Biden election and I have watched Fox News for years since all the regular ABC, CBS, NBC, even my local news in Paducah was so bias (i.e. Fake News) that I only watch the local news for the weather information and I agree that Fox News does allow opposing opinions in their shows and I use a lot of OAN Newsroom articles here because of their accuracy in reporting, and the new Newsmax station is really good on telling you things that none of the other stations will not tell you the whole story sometimes.    So check everything out and get to the truth the best as you can in a day when anti-Christian entities are loose to fool you because as it states below:
1 John 2:18: "Children, it is the last hour; and just as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have appeared.    This is how we know that it is the last hour."
Romans 1:21: "because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened."].

9/23/2020 Senate GOP Probe Outlines Hunter Biden’s Extensive Foreign Dealings by OAN Newsroom

Senate Republicans recently released a report, concluding their investigation into possible corruption within the Biden family.    According to the 87-page report, the Obama administration was made aware of Hunter Biden’s dealings in Ukraine back in 2015, but failed to take action.
Two White House staffers reportedly complained that Hunter Biden’s position with Burisma Holdings would create a conflict of interest in Washington, where then-Vice President Joe Biden oversaw Ukraine policy at the time.    However, the report noted the administration did nothing.
One of the staffers who raised the red flag was George Kent, a prominent figure in the President’s impeachment hearing.    Kent has said he grew concerned after the White House cancelled an investigation into corrupt dealings by the head of a gas company in Ukraine.
His worries were only amplified after he discovered who was on the company’s board of directors.
In early 2015, I raised questions with the deputy prosecutor general about why the investigation into Mr. Zlochevsky had been terminated,” he explained.    “Later, I became aware that Hunter Biden was on the board of Burisma.”
The report also stated Hunter formed a “significant and consistent financial relationship” with the founder of the company.    These reports echoed similar findings uncovered by One America’s Chanel Rion, who conducted her own investigation into the matter earlier this year.
According to the Senate’s probe, the relationship between the Biden family and the Ukrainian business owners resulted in millions of dollars in cash flow.    Some transactions were reportedly linked to an “eastern European prostitution or human trafficking ring.”
Investigators also found Hunter opened a bank account with a person linked to the Chinese Communist Party.
Despite the mounting evidence of wrongdoing, it remains unclear if action will be taken.    It is likely Democrats will continue to defend the Biden name in hopes of taking down President Trump this November.

9/24/2020 GOP-led Senate panels issue Hunter Biden report - Findings: Conflict of interest; impact unclear by Eric Tucker and Mary Clare Jalonick, Associated Press
WASHINGTON – Two Republican led Senate committees issued a politically charged report Wednesday alleging that the work Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s son did in Ukraine constituted a conflict of interest for the Obama administration at a time when Biden was engaged in Ukraine policy as vice president.
But the report said it was ultimately “unclear” what impact Hunter Biden’s position on the board of a Ukrainian gas company had on Obama administration policy with regard to Ukraine.    And it offered no evidence to support one of President Donald Trump’s more incendiary allegations – that Joe Biden pressured Ukraine to fire its top prosecutor as a way to protect his son.
Biden’s campaign immediately panned the report, released six weeks before the election, as an effort by an ally of Trump to damage his election opponent.
Trump has repeatedly drawn attention to Hunter Biden’s work in Ukraine even as his own administration has warned of a concerted Russian effort to denigrate Joe Biden and asserted that a Ukrainian lawmaker who is involved in spreading anti-Biden claims is an “active Russian agent.”
Republican Sen. Ron Johnson, whose Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee is one of the two panels that released the 87-page report, had acknowledged in interviews his goal of making the document public before the election, telling The Associated Press last month that the “American people deserve the truth” about his probe.
The Senate report examines Hunter Biden’s dealings in Ukraine, where he held a paid seat on the board of gas company Burisma, and alleges that work posed a conflict of interest because Biden was vice president at the time and dealing with Ukraine policy.
It references a 2016 email from George Kent, the former acting deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, that described the presence of Hunter Biden on the Burisma board as “very awkward for all U.S. officials pushing an anticorruption agenda in Ukraine.”    Kent testified about his concerns during the impeachment proceedings against Trump last year.
Another State Department official, Amos Hochstein, is described in the report as having raised concerns directly to Biden because he was concerned that Russians were using his son’s role with the company to sow disinformation.
The report says that even though State Department officials regarded the head of the company, Mykola Zlokevsky, as corrupt, Biden did not confront him.
“What the Chairmen discovered during the course of this investigation is that the Obama administration knew that Hunter Biden’s position on Burisma’s board was problematic and did interfere in the efficient execution of policy with respect to Ukraine,” the report says.
“Moreover, this investigation has illustrated the extent to which officials within the Obama administration ignored the glaring warning signs when the vice president’s son joined the board of a company owned by a corrupt Ukrainian oligarch,” it adds.     Even so, the Republican senators acknowledge that the extent to which Hunter Biden’s role on the board affected Ukraine policy is “unclear,” and the report does not describe how, if at all, specific policy decisions were influenced by Biden’s position.
Sen. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., made clear that he wanted the report out before the election. ANDREW HARNIK/AP
[OF COURSE THE DEMOCRATS HAVE IGNORED THIS FOR YEARS BUT TRUMP WILL RUN IT DOWN BIDENS THROAT DURING THE UPCOMING DEBATE AND WE WILL WATCH HIM EXPLODE IN ANGER TO LET THE PUBLIC TO SEE WHAT HE REALLY IS A LIAR WHO IS TRYING TO DENY WHAT HE DID IN UKRAINE EVEN THOUGH IT IS ON VIDEO BUT THEN THE BROADCASTER MAY CUT THAT OUT SO AMERICA CANNOT SEE IT AS THEY HAVE DONE ALL ALONG.].

9//30/2020 Comey Testifies On Origins Of Russia Probe by OAN Newsroom

Former FBI Director James Comey tried his best to defend the 2016-2017 Crossfire Hurricane investigation as the Senate Judiciary Committee looked for answers regarding the probe’s origins.
During Wednesday’s hearing, Comey attempted to back up the bureau’s unfounded look into ties between the President and Russia by claiming the investigation was “essential.”
However, Senate Republicans, including committee chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C), believe Crossfire Hurricane was a failed attempt to undermine the President and his candidacy.
Graham demanded accountability for the multiple errors in the Steele dossier, including calls for surveillance conducted on former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page.
Comey argued the investigation from DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz into the dossier didn’t prove there was intentional wrongdoing during the Russia probe on the part of the FBI.
“I think Mr. Horowitz found that it was not disclosed…a variety of facts were not disclosed,” Comey stated.    “He didn’t find intentional misconduct, but he found concerning failures to disclose.”
The former director also tried to distance himself from the secret surveillance on Page, admitting they were sloppy and claiming he would not have approved the warrant if he had been aware of the errors later found by Horowitz.
Comey spent a majority of the hearing dodging questions and alleging he remembered very little about the investigation he ran.

9/30/2020 Bombshell DNI Release: Obama, Clinton Approved Russia Hoax by OAN Newsroom

Intelligence Committee on Capitol Hill in Washington. (AP Photo/Andrew Harnik, Pool, File)
The Director of National Intelligence declassified documents detailing former President Barack Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s alleged roles in making false ties between the Trump campaign and Russia.
On Tuesday, John Ratcliffe issued a statement saying he will release handwritten notes of Obama’s meetings with then-CIA chief John Brennan back in 2016 at the request of Senate Judiciary Committee chairman Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.).
The notes allege 2016 Democrat presidential nominee Clinton approved plans for her campaign to pin the hacking of the DNC on the Trump campaign and the Kremlin.    Further, the document claims the FBI briefed then-President Obama shortly after Clinton’s approval of the plan.
Meanwhile, some reports are saying the declassified information is unverified Russian disinformation.    However, Ratcliffe released a follow up statement responding to those claims saying the Intelligence Community has not assessed it as being false.
The Director of National Intelligence noted he will be briefing Congress about the way the information was obtained in coming days.
Chairman Graham said the veracity of the claims do not concern him.    Instead, he wants to know whether the FBI took them seriously.
This all comes amid longstanding concerns the Obama-era Intelligence Community may have had a left-wing anti-Trump bias.    Former FBI Director James Comey is scheduled to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee Wednesday about operation Crossfire Hurricane.
Graham has said that hearing will focus on whether there was preferential treatment when it came to alleged corruption in the Clinton campaign compared to allegations against the Trump campaign.
